Giving Scivice Service groups make up a large number of the organizations at VVebster. Learning to serve others develops responsibility in the stu- dents and aids them in facing adult problems. Students perform services both in the school and the community, from ushering at plays to aiding in fund-raising drives. 'l'he .lunior Red Cross, an active service organization, has several animal projectsg which include packing overseas gift boxes and giving programs at 'l'ulsa hospitals. Journal- ism students capably serve by reporting school news to various newspapers. Photography students perform an important job in taking pictures for the newspapers and the yearbook. Student librarians, office, and bookstore staffs cannot go without mention since their functions are important in keeping school records and supplying students with necessary materials. 'l'he stagecraft classes provide an indispensable service, making sets for our plays, assemblies, and Talicade. Custodians keep the building sparkling clean to provide us with a happy environment. NVithout the services of many groups, the school could not be efficiently maintained, and we would not hare many of the things we enjoy most. l'ieI11r:'s, ruff tu lmltrnn: Bookstore girls provide study material for eager students. Members of our Junior lied Cross give till it hurts for our world neighbors. Helping visitors to our annual homecoming is serious work for these girls. l2il
