JACK BERGEN-This choir member likes weekends, summer, beaches, and pizza. Dislikes homework, but plans to go to U of M. KURT CHRISTOPH-He enjoys school when school is enjoyable? When he graduates from Daniel he wants to go to University and become a pilot. JOHN DAHL-Activities include school, eating, sleeping, fooling around. Main interests are St. John ' s. Ambition is to be ambitious. RICHARD J.DAVIS-Air Cadet and Band member whose future lies in Royal Canadian Air Force or Royal Australian Air Force. English is definitely not his favourite subject. LOUISE FORBES-An avid gum-chewer who works at Simpson ' t and studies at U. of W. Known as Maggie, or Bubbles she is heading for MIT or the U. RENNY FROESE-Her future is open for suggestions. Faithfully does homework? How wonderful it is to do nothing and then to rest afterwards. RAY HUSKA-Hockey player who likes weekends and dislikes empty brown bottles. LARRY KEHLER-is interested in cars and eating, when not studying. If he can complete high school, his plans are in electronics. Feels education is necessary, but teaching methods are ancient. BARRY KRAFT-Barry Kraft takes part in many extracurricular activities. Likes Tom Jones, and the Beverly Hillbillies. Is a Scout Captain, Demoley and sea cadet. Doesn ' t like students who fool around in class. STEPHEN LEONG-Stephen is another faithful hall walker. Dislikes homework which interferes with CFL and NFL. Ambition 4 year plans. KEITH McDOWELL-an Anti-school type. DON MELNICHUK-Sports Captain and Razorback who likes girls, money. Ford ' s, Vancouver, ten-mile road races, but dislikes 6 ' 4 half-milers. Weakness is long blonde hair. JIM PICKERING-A new arrival from Tec-Voc who likes football and hockey. ROBERT SELLEY-Choir member and poor undeserving Eye Rep. Performs all life ' s functions such as breathing, eating, dislikes working. JIM THOMPSON-Active in beaching, hockey, eating. Goes for Pizza,3-speed Jeeps, sleeping, and drive-ins. FRED WAECHTER-Activities include school, hospital, choir, swimming. Has a weakness for girls and can be heard thinking You can ' t get more out of life than you put in. Ambition: BA at U of M. ELFRIEDA WARKENTIN-Activities include being sec. treas; working at Dubs , bugging people, spending money. Likes coffee and dislikes biology. Wants to attend University of some other prov. TERRY WOO-Activities include inhaling, exhaling, eating, sleeping, football, T.V., homework (in that order) Likes football, hockey, Supremes, but dislikes chronic complainers, boring Eng. Periods. Ambition: University. ROOM 49 JOAN BAGOT-Activities include choir, art, piano. Likes: brown eyes, basketball, jade and plans to be social worker. SYLVIA BLAJER-Water-skiier who also likes horseback riding and weekends. Can be heard saying or something else Ambition is to get to U of M. 86

RICK EGGERTSON-Activities consist of pretending to be smart. Intends to take a five year plan at M.l.T. He likes long blonde hair and dislikes eating rotten apples. DAVID ELIAS-The Runaway. Activities: shovelling road apples, bluehearts, and running over B.W. Likes: Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones. F.S. Boy, am I in trouble. P.P.-G.G. BEV EMERY-Likes bombing around in a Lotus, LOS Angeles, bullocks, casines. Dislikes: school and brush-cuts, can be heard saying No, I won ' t. GERRY HALLSON-Plans to own Eaton ' s one of these days. For now likes choir, long blonde hair, money, ' Vettes. Heading for Commerce at U of M GREG HERSHMAN-A Razorback who also is a member of the cross country team. Plans to attend University in the U.S. and to try for the 1972 Olympics. PEGGY LAWRENCE-An immigrant from Tec Voc who can be heard asking What ' s with the lights? She wants to become a teacher but it is rumoured that she will be applying for Daniel ' s five-year plans. KENNETH LEE-Ken is heading for U. of M. Likes: quiet nights, serenades, and quiet, shy girls. GRANT LYDIARD-Grant en joys outdoor sports. Is planning to take his gambles on a University engineering course. SHEILA PATERSON-Her likes are fuzzy hair, free thinkers, and rings. She dislikes laws, egocentrics and William Bases. She wants to own the world but will probably become a Prestidigitator. BONNIE PELCZAR-Bonnie can always be found doing what comes naturally, which includes walking in the rain. Dislikes white socks, creepy crawlers and black cats. MONICA PESCHEL-Activities include playing guitar, dancing, travelling. Likes water melon and June 30th. Plans to go to Vancouver and San Francisco. SANDI RAMSAY-As well as being an active member of our school choir Sandi is also a member of Sing Out Winnipeg, Inc. She works at Grace Hospital. She plans to attend the U of M. DAVE ROBERTSON-Hockey player and girl chaser, Dave works at Safeway. Dislikes: Homework. Wants to travel but will probably do so as Fuller Brush Man. ALFRED ROY-A Mighty Maroon who lives in constant dread of 275 lb. tackles. He likes short football practices and cars. Wants to become a teacher. PAUL RUTHERFORD-Likes: the Rolling Stones, Doors and Wild clothes. RICHARD SAWRY-Another Mighty Maroon who goes in for girl watching. Spends his time developing Molson ' s Muscle with a certain girl at parties. Wants to be a success at U of M. ANNE SCHUSTER-Choir member, folk singer, guitarist, jazz pianist, likes: horseback riding all day in sunshine. Dislikes: runny nylons, but can be heard saying Don ' t worry about it? BARRY STEWART-His activities are Cross-Country and Indoor track. Likes: Maths with Mr. Mozel. His ambition is to attend University in the U.S. JIM STORRY-Choir member, hockey player, who goes for girls, good dancer and good parties. Wants to attend University. STEPHEN ZELEZEN-Likes fooling around after school. Dislikes homework. Ambition: anything. Fate: nothing. ROOM 68 85

RAY CALDER-Feels you don ' t have to be crazy to go to school here, but it helps. Enjoys Riverton weekends, the Halo Syndicate. Ambition is U of M for teaching. WENDY CARTER-School activities include choir and Campus Life. Also interested in C.A. ' s and A.R.C. Plans to attend teacher ' s college and work with retarded children. AL COLLINS-Viewpoint; Our farmers are in trouble. They ' re growing wheat that won ' t sell. Activities: I ' ve given up wheat and taken to sowing oats. DAVE DEAN-Ambition is to turn a 14. Dislikes writing school write-ups and pet peeve is people who drive inconsiderably (mentioning no names). JOHN FRIESEN-Music enthusiast whose main activity (apart from coffee breaks) is choir. Also W.P., Y.C., guitar, folk music, and Mr. Froese ' s maths classes. Ambition is university. MARGARET GEMBEY-Activities include music lessons, sewing and painting. Would like to go into nursing. MYRA HARVEY-Likes: holidays, payday. Dislikes: snobs. Ambition: rich and famous. Fate: drive ' 48 Dodge forever. Pet Peeve: brother ' s driving. Activities: Jet ' s games. Weakness: new cars. ROSA-LYNNE lANNONE-Activities-class president, madrigal choir, working at the Bay. Likes: music, dogs, people, having fun. PP: The Establishment Ambition-membership with Mafia. Fate: full time wop. MARK LITTLE-School Activities-choir, going for coffee, failing French, and Mrs. Rajan ' s Biology class. Future Ambition: Get out of Daniel. Pet Peeve: Hot dog teachers, frosh. BONNIE MILLER-ln school she works on Breezes Advertising, Communications Committee, and choir. Outside she works at Safeway. Likes mushroom, life, and blond guys. Heading for Europe; teaching career. KEN PORTER-Activities: HALO SIN-DICATE, volleyball, guitar, girls. Lives for a certain army shirt and weekends. Can be heard complaining about short haircuts or saying I love you too . SUSAN TALANICO-Strong supporter of all sports, and a choir member. Works at Action 5 when not after the boys. Heading for California and the air . DALE TUCKEN-Main outside activities-working. Future Plans: to leave Daniel. Viewpoint: think most people are phony and only looking out for themselves. GORDON WHEATLEY-Activities include Breeze ' s Advertising, Judo club, trying to pass XII. Also bowling, working, cars. Top ' s. Future Plans: working and university. Dislikes: Guys with new cars. ROOM 12 DONNA ANSELL-Donna ' s activities are centred outside the school. She plans to go into nursing and forget about teachers and everything concerning school. Weakness is blonde hair, blue eyes. WALTER BARTSH-Football supporter, girl chaser, and pool shark, he dislikes a slow Plymouth with no muffler. Wants to finish a daydream but may end up a bad trip. BILL BOORMAN-Works at the Winnipeg Arena and for the Highways Department; plans to enter Drafting at MIT. RICHARD BEAQUE-Attends all classes faithfully? Goes out with the wife, then the boys. Indulges in such things as parties, pool games and other such matters not to be mentioned. Wants to complete 12. MARTIN CLARE-ls active at school and on weekends. Wants to pass Grade 12. GORD HUMINUK-Constantly seen with the boys on a wild weekend at Trout Lake. Seen again the following weekend cleaning up and cashing in empties. 87
