SHIRLEY McLEOD-Active in choir, YBC, she likes small dogs, suede, anything green, yoga, dislikes big dogs dreary days. She plans to be a lab technician. ARNOLD MEAD-A VW lover who dislikes long distances. Fords, Tec-Voc and our anthem. He wants to live forever. Fate: He will. CLAUDETTE PELLAND-She likes being different, such as going out in purple cars. Wants to own a Lotus , probably own Myra ' s 48 Dodge. She can ' t drive yet... GERHARD PETERS-Can be found leaving the scene of the crime. Likes cars, crime, etc. etc., plans to attend U of W. Can be heard saying Keep it clean! WALTER T. PLEWA-Likes: bananas. Dislikes: the seal on the peel. Activities: eating bananas, disturbing the peace. Pet Peeve: Dino eating my bananas. Ambition: Eating a left-handed banana upside down. Fate: Watching Dino eat my bananas. (Yeah! ) GARY POSINITUCK-Wants to become a nice person but will probably end up as Hydra the multi-handed. Likes-quitars, music, liquid refreshments, pipes, milk and guts. TERRY PRATCHEN-This is Terri ' s 1st year here at Daniel. Knows digs Mrs. Rajan. Plans to be a teacher in future, likes Bob Dylan (Everybody must get stoned) FAv. Saying-How ' s your melon? Outside Interest-a certain someone at Cantor ' s Solo Store. DONNA PURVES-This girl plans to go to Tangier and-cencored-. Outside interests are W.S.B. and-cencored. P.P. French cigarettes. She is commonly known as the Frog Slayer . JOHN ROBERTS-For some reason or other, he doesn ' t like Yearbook writeups. RAYMOND ROSKI-A Honda fan who likes horseback riding, swimming, travelling and girls. He dislikes being beaten by faster bikes. His future plans include racing cars. WAYNE STACEY-No comment. NADINE THOMSON-A reading and singing enthusiast who plans to go to M.l.T. outside of school activities include listening to records and collecting ten dollar bills. JIM WITIUK-Jim ' s main interests are hockey, avoiding dry, boring weekends, and Montreal girls. His ambition is university but he ' ll probably end up back with the boys. KASMIR ZURIK-Activities: getting up and going to school. Likes: hot cars, Pedro Kosmelenko, Dislikes: Pedro Kosmelenko ' s brother Walter. Ambition: Architect. Fate: a window washer without a safety line on the Richardson Building. ROOM 42 HELEN BERGEN-Fanatical admirer of Shakespeare who can be seen rushing to wrong classes and expending her theory that the world could be a better place. SHIRLEY BILYK-Activities include choir, working, organ lessons. Likes pepperoni pizza, weekends, and driving a 65 Comet. Dislikes little boys who never grow up and plans to be a social worker. JOHN BORLEY-Activities are walking on water, acting dumb, and playing in his sandbox. Pet Peeve: people who knock him off his tricycle. Will go far in this world (and the farther the better.) LORNE BOUND-A Topp ' s man who enjoys doing nothing worth while. Blue, Black and pulling wings of mosquitoes. Would like to quit school and become a teacher. GAY DUBOIS-Cheerleader, class president, social committee keep her busy. Likes enzymes, dark brown hair, money, football players and fast cars. Ambition: nurse. 84

JANICE LUKIANCHUK-A Transcona Nationals supporter who dislikes crawling in through small windows says she confides only in her teddy bear. JIM MADDER-Mr. A ' s star soprano, Jim goes for tennis and bowling. A future micor-biologist, lives in vain hope of becoming Mr. R ' sstar pupil. GWENYTH MATHESON-Secretary of Room 65 who likes the summer scene, fashion fun, dancing, chocolates, peanut butter sandwiches, poppycock. Can be heard saying Hold the busi LINDA MclNTYRE-A choir member and swimmer, who likes travelling and Edmonton. Wants to study biology at the U., but fears ultimate fate as a secretary. BILL MURRAY- Y member who enjoys swimming driving, cars, girls, good parties, and box lunches. Bill plans to succeed. DOUG PATERSON-Can be found getting in trouble with Mrs. R. (because of his principle interest in the opposite sex) Hates running out of gas in V.W. ' s. Likes long hair. ANITA POHL-Ing ' s buddy, pal, and accomplice in working out complicated crimes. Can be heard saying that ' s mean but let ' s do it anyways. BRUCE TOWERZEY-Active in golf, curling, and weightlifting. Can be heard saying look, ya binel I Dislikes: school, exams, goes for Amx ' s. ERWIN WESENBERG-A Madrigal choir member who ' s always very active in Athletic Council and all sports. Erwin likes clothes, pizza and cars. Future plans include travelling and dentistry. RICK WIEBE-Tape club member and V.P. of 65, he likes flying and sings in Madrigal Choir. Can be heard saying What a Tube . Future is high in the clouds. ELENORE WIELER-Choir member who often spends weekends at Grand Beach when she isn ' t working. Enjoys parties, pizza and incense. ROOM 28 CINDY ACKLAND-A cheerleader who likes to walk and breathe. For some reason she klags and dislikes plastic people. GEORGE BAIN-Activities: working, school, sports. Likes: water, boats. Dislikes: people who talk fast. F.S.: You are talking through your hat. Talk slowly. CHRIS DODD-Activities: Getting to school late, skipping out. Reward shoe salesman, squirting water. Thinks he ' ll get married in 2 years but will probably become a hermit. DEBBIE FALKINGHAM-A choir member who likes rainy days and chocolates. Also belongs to the heart club and elections committee. Will blonde hair, blue eyes bring her happiness? PHYLLIS GODFREY-A girl who does fun things, like school and working at Eaton ' s. She likes suede and leather, Carny Crinkles , rainy days and poetry. Has a dislike for plasticity. JACK HARRIS-A football and hockey player who likes M.G. in Room 13, weekends pizza, 68 falcons. Is on 5 yr. plan for Grade 127 Hopes for 2 yrs. ROBERT KNIGHT-Doesn ' t have much to say. MIKE LUMSDEN-A Blueheart and Indian of the Group he enjoys football, hookey, and scrapping at Gimli. He likes parties at Stefura ' s, Elias, driving his car into ditches and dislikes warm brew. 83

Activities: shovelling road apples, bluehearts, and running over B.W. Likes: Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones. F.S. Boy, am I in trouble. P.P.-G.G. BEV EMERY-Likes bombing around in a Lotus, LOS Angeles, bullocks, casines. Dislikes: school and brush-cuts, can be heard saying No, I won ' t. GERRY HALLSON-Plans to own Eaton ' s one of these days. For now likes choir, long blonde hair, money, ' Vettes. Heading for Commerce at U of M GREG HERSHMAN-A Razorback who also is a member of the cross country team. Plans to attend University in the U.S. and to try for the 1972 Olympics. PEGGY LAWRENCE-An immigrant from Tec Voc who can be heard asking What ' s with the lights? She wants to become a teacher but it is rumoured that she will be applying for Daniel ' s five-year plans. KENNETH LEE-Ken is heading for U. of M. Likes: quiet nights, serenades, and quiet, shy girls. GRANT LYDIARD-Grant en joys outdoor sports. Is planning to take his gambles on a University engineering course. SHEILA PATERSON-Her likes are fuzzy hair, free thinkers, and rings. She dislikes laws, egocentrics and William Bases. She wants to own the world but will probably become a Prestidigitator. BONNIE PELCZAR-Bonnie can always be found doing what comes naturally, which includes walking in the rain. Dislikes white socks, creepy crawlers and black cats. MONICA PESCHEL-Activities include playing guitar, dancing, travelling. Likes water melon and June 30th. Plans to go to Vancouver and San Francisco. SANDI RAMSAY-As well as being an active member of our school choir Sandi is also a member of Sing Out Winnipeg, Inc. She works at Grace Hospital. She plans to attend the U of M. DAVE ROBERTSON-Hockey player and girl chaser, Dave works at Safeway. Dislikes: Homework. Wants to travel but will probably do so as Fuller Brush Man. ALFRED ROY-A Mighty Maroon who lives in constant dread of 275 lb. tackles. He likes short football practices and cars. Wants to become a teacher. PAUL RUTHERFORD-Likes: the Rolling Stones, Doors and Wild clothes. RICHARD SAWRY-Another Mighty Maroon who goes in for girl watching. Spends his time developing Molson ' s Muscle with a certain girl at parties. Wants to be a success at U of M. ANNE SCHUSTER-Choir member, folk singer, guitarist, jazz pianist, likes: horseback riding all day in sunshine. Dislikes: runny nylons, but can be heard saying Don ' t worry about it? BARRY STEWART-His activities are Cross-Country and Indoor track. Likes: Maths with Mr. Mozel. His ambition is to attend University in the U.S. JIM STORRY-Choir member, hockey player, who goes for girls, good dancer and good parties. Wants to attend University.
