Boy’s Volleyball This year Mr. Froese combined a number of last year ' s veterans, a few rookie grade tens and one or two players from other schools to build a strong team. They indeed, did very well, this year, winning most of their games, but failing in their efforts to gain the city championship by a narrow loss to Kelvin. Freshman Girl’s Volleyball This year ' s Freshman Girl ' s Volleyball Team emerged from regular league play with three wins and five losses. This record was not, however, indicative of their play. A good many of the girls are expected to graduate into varsity ranks next year. The team wishes to thank Mrs. Marese for her coaching and supervision. Judo Club A new addition to the Daniel Mac sports scene this year was the Judo Club. Under the supervision the notorious Black Belt Fast the club ' s forty-odd members learned and practiced the basics of judo. Club members, both male and female, were enthusiastic about their progress in this ancient and honourable sport. 69
