Badminton Club Daniel preserved its reputation as the power in Manitoba high school badminton competition this year. The team won 14 out of 15 tournament games to take the provincial title. Curling-Boys ' Although the boys ' curling team did not fair too well in inter-school competition, there was a good deal of fine play between the various teams within the club. Curling, it seems, is a sport of growing recreational importance to Daniel. The boys would like to thank Mr. Harvey for his guidance throughout the year. Exec-Dave Parkes, Bruce Hemmett, DaveTowerzy. Girls’ Curling The girls curled at the Thistle Club every Tuesday from 4 to 6. This recreational program was again very successful and the girls had a lot of fun. The Gym Club was, again, this year, one of the sports which enjoyed wide participation, with forty of Daniel ' s students taking part in four levels of competition, and in a gym display. The entrants in both A and B classes (novice and advanced) did very well, indeed, all members of the team wish to thank Mr. Hocking for his fine coaching.
