Organizations Electronics Club The Electronics Club major project was a light show presented at a November dance. Using Overhead Projectors and white screens as well as electronic lighting equipment some highly original effects were created paralleling the progressive mu¬ sic of the band. Club members also worked on individual projects such as strobe lights, TV cameras, radio receivers, etc. Thanks go to Mr. Spector for his help. Ken Fogelberg, Ted Shanoha, Ken Asmas, Ray Roski, Bruce Hanson, Norberto Pellicci, Grant Wichenko. Maths Club The Maths Club added a new dimension to its activities this year, when it learned Contract Bridge under the capable guidance of Staff Advi¬ sor, Mr. Fast. Members also trained their minds through other more purely mathematical games. The high point of the year, as always, was the two Mathematics Contests written on April 8, in which many Club members participated successfully. Body Culture Club Each day after 4:00 our muscled crew can be found pressing and curling their muscles into shape. The club members do some running to sup¬ plement their muscle toning. Says club President Vince Bueti; Our regimen of regular applied iso¬ metrics, stress training specifically adjusted to the anatomical and kinesiological peculiarities of our members, and the psychological stimulation of ex¬ tenuated physical exertion results in an aesthetic appreciation of body building as an art form. FRONT ROW: Gord Muir, Vince Bueti, BACK ROW: George Klein, Angelo DeFrancesco, Mauro Dobran, Bruce McCormick.

Clubs and Reach For The Top This year ' s Reach for the Top Team, com¬ posed of Doug Wood, Nym Hughes, Lynne Magnusson, and Tommy Kucera, was, unfortunately, narrowly defeated in its second game of the season. Team practices were enjoyed by all, as the absorption of knowledge was aided by the consumption of various dainties. Practices took place in the reference room of the library, where the team was assisted by Grant Wichenko, Brian Oonst, Eddy Kosowski, and Jerry Kowalyk, along with staff advisor Miss Sorensen, to whom many thanks are extended. Tape Club This year ' s Tape Club, under the skilled leadership of President George Solomonides, had another successful year. They again recorded the Choral Concert and provided taping services for the teachers. The Ear , the branch of the Tape Club most noticeable to the student body, continued to relieve lunchroom blues by providing popular music during noonhours. Miss Hunt, the staff advi¬ sor, is to be thanked for assisting the club. Chess Club This year ' s chess team, composed of Brian Williams, Bill Gray, Gordon Tataryn, and Larry Roberts, placed third in the Free Press Chess Tournament during the Christmas Holidays. The team played successfully in another Free Press Tournament in the Easter Holidays. The Chess Club varied its fare by playing Bridge and other games as well as chess.
