It seems that in our present technological age the gap between the needs of youth and those of society has widened rather than narrowed with the resulting misunderstanding, frustration and lack of confidence that is evident among groups of young people today. The resultant gap can only be bridged through education and by a mature growth in our high school students. Much of the factual information you learn in school is quickly forgotten. What we hope will remain with you is an unshaking adherence to the principles of honesty, personal integrity, respect for the rights of others and, to the responsibilities of life and work in order that you may serve society with honour. F. E. BOTHE Principal 10 M. B. PERFECT Vice - Principal Golden Anniversary April 9, 1973 will be the fiftieth anniversary of Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute. Our school, the successor to the old Winnipeg Central Collegiate, the first public high school established west of the Great Lakes, has had a unique and eventful history. It also holds a unique and very special place in the hearts of several thousands of those who are proud to have been associated with it at some time during the past fifty years. In order to mark the Golden Anniversary of the School in a fitting manner, former graduates are already making plans for the celebration. Before 1973, the 1970 graduates will be old grads , too, and will be contacted concerning this opportunity for a reunion of all those who cherish the memories and friendships formed at D.M.C.I. During her three years at Daniel Lynne has excelled in many fields of e ndeavour. She has maintained a high average, receiving Book Awards in each year, and in Grade XII winning the Merit Award for Maths and English. Athletically, Lynne is an outstanding gymnast and has won Provincial titles in several events. Lynn was editor of the Eye this year, and has also been active in choir, French plays, and was a member of the Reach for the Top team. Lynne plans to attend the University of Manitoba next year. Staff Award TOM KUCERA In a case where the decision between two candidates for the Governor General ' s Medal was very difficult, it is the policy at Daniel McIntyre to give a special Staff Award. This year ' s recepient was Tom Kucera. Tom has maintained a high scholastic average, winning the Merit Award for Maths while in Grade XI and this year the Merit Award for Science, As well, Tom has been a member of the Madrigal Choir for two years and a Reach for the Top team member in both XI and XII. BREEZES STAFF: FRONT: Nym Hughes (Editor), Charles Sandburg, Tommy Kucera (As¬ sistant Editor), BACK: Ron Loewen, Karen Ozamoto, Sha¬ ron Fenner, Grant Wichenko The yearbook staff would like to extend its appreciation for the help of the many people in Daniei who contributed to the production of this yearbook. Thanks go to Mr. Kemp and the typing committee, Mr. Bjornson ' s advertising committee and the administration and staff without whose co-operation we would never have managed to get our pages in on time. This yearbook should reflect the thoughts and memories of each person at Daniel. Of course, it doesn ' t - it is merely the expression of the views of the five or six people who worked on it. If you didn ' t like this yearbook, we suggest you do something about making next year ' s the way you want. Nym Hughes Editor 26 BREEZES ' ADVERTISING COMMITTEE: Janice Masters, Mr Bjornson, Bonnie Miller, Gordon Wheatley. MISSING: Carol Ostop Susan Talarico, Ray Calder. President’s Message Time is truly the most powerful and continuous motion. I have found my three years at Daniel seem very short, despite the sometimes long and tedious hours in the classroom. The past year went by so quickly I accomplished little, in school or out. Because of the situation I found myself in, near - failing marks, constantly going to something without any time to go, feeling guilty because I knew this was not the best year in Daniel ' s history - I felt sometimes like throwing in the towel. And I don ' t really know why I didn ' t. Lots of reasons, I guess. My friends at Daniel. My parents. Knowing that I couldn ' t please all the people all the time. The support and co-operation of Mr. Bothe and the rest of the staff. Pride. Just finally realizing that all anyone can do is try their damnedest. THOM YAMASHITA President BENG TYSON Vice-President I still think Daniel ' s the best though. Because you were there. Passing, failing, playing on a team, singing in the choir, dancing, rushing to classes, skipping out. And the thing I ' ll miss most when I (hopefully) leave Daniel will be my friends. So if you ever see me walking down the street, come up and say Hi! I was at Daniel in 69-70 I may not remember you but I ' ll pull out my yearbook and look you up. That ' s what yearbooks are for you know. They are the closest thing to stopping time and turning it back to your memories of Daniel. Cherish them. THOM YAMASHITA PRESIDENT 28 DMSA Executive LEFT TO RIGHT: Gavin Wood, Thom Yamashita, John Rink, Karen Rempel, Beng Tyson, In¬ grid Voss, Barry Mitchell, Pat Bu- rdon, Gord Favelle, Judy Wilkins, Wendy Russell, Dave Allan, Ron Loewen. DMCI Student Council The DMCI Student Council, consisting of room presidents plus the student executive, met regularly to make decisions on matters affecting the student population as a whole. This year a great deal of debate centered on the DMCI Scholarship, the possible introduction of the House System, plans for Daniel ' s fiftieth birthday, etc. Thanks are extended to Mrs. Witherspoon for her help as staff advisor throughout the year. • 0 M COMMITTEES OF HEART CLUB John Rink ' s group of spirit - beavers made a genuine effort this year to boost student participation in extra-curricular activities. Their promotional endevours met with success as is evident from the marked increase in student and faculty participation at such events as the DMCI Invitational Basketball Tournament, Spirit Days, and the dances. The Club would like to thank all staff members for their aid and guidance. FRONT ROW: Sandy Cooper, John Rink, Mary Capri, Gayle Leverton; SECOND ROW; Karen Rempel, Doug Sargent, Pat Burdon, Wendy Russell, Pat Russell, Cindy Smith, Janice Wright, Greg Carter, Don Kasian. BACK: Bang Tyson. SOCIAL COMMITTEE The Social Committee attempted to institute some improvements in Daniel ' s dances. By raising ticket prices and increasing the effectiveness of the publicity campaigns the committee was able to book better bands and thereby increase student attendance at the dances. At one mid-year dance, with the Fifth, in excess of five hundred people attended. Claude Janier, Anna Tonosky, Pat Burdon, Ron Loewen, Bonnie Miller, Phil Tynes, Brian Yamashita. COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE This is the first year of this committee. The committee ran the events calendar beside the library. Also, in an effort to gain an idea of student opinion on certain matters the committee put out polls on the yearbook, dances, grad, and the DMCI Scholarship. SITTING: Gord Favell, Janet Watt, Sophie Rzeszutek, Bruce Hanson. STANDING: Chuck Sandberg, Wolfgang Fink, Pat Thiessen, Beng Tyson, Doug Sargeant. The Student Council Elections Committee John Horrock ' s Elections Committee hand¬ led such events as elections for Spirit King and Queen, and, most importantly, elections for stu¬ dent council President and Vice-President. Their job was to marshall the candidates ' campaigns, or¬ ganize the presentation of speeches and supervise the counting of ballots. Thanks to Mrs. Witherspoon for her invalu¬ able assistance. FRONT ROW: Susan Desmarais, Debbie Falkingham, Jennie Mikos. BACK ROW: Nancy Stefura, John Horrocks (chairman), George Klassen. Scholarship Committee The Scholarship Committee under Judy Wilkins took on a multitude of duties this year. In collaboration with the Grade 12 presidents the members formulated a set of guidelines for awarding the DMCI scholarships. The Committee itself initiated a number of projects to increase the capital allotted to the scholarship fund. FRONT ROW: Gerry Collins, Erna Buffie, Judy Wilkins (chairman), Gayle Leverton, Glen Kellar. IN BACK: Phil Tynes. Awards Committee With the increasing popularity of school rings and pins, the Awards Committee was much busier this year than in previous years. The Com¬ mittee members were active both in the sale of rings and pins and in the purchase and distribution of beanies and pennants. The committee later took care of the paperwork behind the awarding of Citi¬ zenship awards. FRONT ROW: Ken Krochenski, Pat Burdon, Ingrid Voss (chairman), Debbie Thorne. BACK ROW: Janet Pazdor, Janis Magnusson, Lesley Malcolm. C onstitution Committee The Constitution Committee, headed by Gavin Wood, was responsible for implementing changes in the DMSA constitution. This year changes passed by the Student Council were mainly concerned with the new DMCI scholarship. Murray Palmer, Gavin Wood (chairman), Judy Wilkins, Don Piragoff. Sales Committee The Sales Committee had the responsibility of purchasing, selling, and distributing the maroon and white sweatshirts and scarves so common around the schools. Although their duties were concentrated into a short time-period, the Committee members worked hard and are to be congratulated for their hard work. Thanks to staff members Mr. Yoshino and Mrs. Witherspoon for their assistance. FRONT ROW: Gayle Leverton, Doug Wood, Gary Ardrin. BACK ROW: Brenda Tario, Janet Watt, Karen Rempel (Chairman). Board of Athletics The Board of Athletics takes care of the administrative functions necessary to Daniel ' s intra-mural sports activities. The members were delegated duties such as arranging schedules for co-ed volleyball and intra-mural basketball. This committee is one instance in which the students have had the opportunity to become the estab¬ lishment . FRONT ROW: Helen Rzeszutek, Nick Dyck (chairman), Sophie Rzeszutek. BACK ROW: Mark Horvath, Gayle Leverton, Erwin Wesenberg. Phoenix Club Daniel McIntyre ' s current affairs discussion group, the Phoenix Club, enjoyed another success¬ ful season. The club held many meetings and dis¬ cussions on current topics; took part in an inter¬ school debating tournament; and, as usual, sent a delegation to the Transcona Jaycees Junior Parlia¬ ment. Daniel ' s first Model Parliament was hosted by the club in April. The Club members extend special thanks to President Nancy Stefura and Advisor Mr. Fraser for their hard work throughout the year. DMC “Eye This year ' s Eye , still holding true to pre¬ vious years standards, received a First Class Rating for the efforts of its staff. Under the leadership of Editor Lynne Magnusson, the staff attempted to increase student involvement in the paper by re¬ questing more letters-to-the-editor, and to improve the content of the paper by an expanded features section. Many thanks to staff adviser Miss Sorensen, whose efforts helped make the year so successful. Clubs and Reach For The Top This year ' s Reach for the Top Team, com¬ posed of Doug Wood, Nym Hughes, Lynne Magnusson, and Tommy Kucera, was, unfortunately, narrowly defeated in its second game of the season. Team practices were enjoyed by all, as the absorption of knowledge was aided by the consumption of various dainties. Practices took place in the reference room of the library, where the team was assisted by Grant Wichenko, Brian Oonst, Eddy Kosowski, and Jerry Kowalyk, along with staff advisor Miss Sorensen, to whom many thanks are extended. Tape Club This year ' s Tape Club, under the skilled leadership of President George Solomonides, had another successful year. They again recorded the Choral Concert and provided taping services for the teachers. The Ear , the branch of the Tape Club most noticeable to the student body, continued to relieve lunchroom blues by providing popular music during noonhours. Miss Hunt, the staff advi¬ sor, is to be thanked for assisting the club. Chess Club This year ' s chess team, composed of Brian Williams, Bill Gray, Gordon Tataryn, and Larry Roberts, placed third in the Free Press Chess Tournament during the Christmas Holidays. The team played successfully in another Free Press Tournament in the Easter Holidays. The Chess Club varied its fare by playing Bridge and other games as well as chess. Organizations Electronics Club The Electronics Club major project was a light show presented at a November dance. Using Overhead Projectors and white screens as well as electronic lighting equipment some highly original effects were created paralleling the progressive mu¬ sic of the band. Club members also worked on individual projects such as strobe lights, TV cameras, radio receivers, etc. Thanks go to Mr. Spector for his help. Ken Fogelberg, Ted Shanoha, Ken Asmas, Ray Roski, Bruce Hanson, Norberto Pellicci, Grant Wichenko. Maths Club The Maths Club added a new dimension to its activities this year, when it learned Contract Bridge under the capable guidance of Staff Advi¬ sor, Mr. Fast. Members also trained their minds through other more purely mathematical games. The high point of the year, as always, was the two Mathematics Contests written on April 8, in which many Club members participated successfully. Body Culture Club Each day after 4:00 our muscled crew can be found pressing and curling their muscles into shape. The club members do some running to sup¬ plement their muscle toning. Says club President Vince Bueti; Our regimen of regular applied iso¬ metrics, stress training specifically adjusted to the anatomical and kinesiological peculiarities of our members, and the psychological stimulation of ex¬ tenuated physical exertion results in an aesthetic appreciation of body building as an art form. FRONT ROW: Gord Muir, Vince Bueti, BACK ROW: George Klein, Angelo DeFrancesco, Mauro Dobran, Bruce McCormick. D .M .C .1. Concert Choir The DMCI Concert Choir under the enthusiastic and capable direction of Mr. Barry Anderson, had a successful and enjoyable year. An almost full house attended the Choral Concert in the Auditorium February 13. Choir selections ranged from The Lord ' s Prayer and the Hallelujah Chorus to Simon and Garfunkel and Oliver . In May, as a Centennial Project, the Big Choir travelled to Dauphin, Flin Flon, and The Pas where their concerts were enthusiastically received. i. .. i ' Vr ' Mr- |Q fc, 42 The ninety Madrigal Choir members were kept busy this year practising daily and performing often. Highlights included the CJOB-Tribune Carol Festival, a Christmas TV program for CJAY, and singing for Prime Minister Trudeau at the Concert Hall in March. The choir hosted a band from Blakelock Collegiate and in the Easter Holidays travelled to Oakville and Toronto. Past and present choir members prepared for their trip to Expo 70 in Japan this August. Art Room The talents of Daniel ' s artistically skilled persons flowered in Room 27 under the inspirational guidance of Mrs. Vaselenak. Art classes worked in many media including wire and wood, all forms of painting, sculpting, etc. 44 45 Prose Contest ESSAYS First - Food for Thought Brian Yamashita X-51 Second - What it Takes To Be A Man Kerry Mclnnes X-2 SHORT STORIES First - Vorne Jane Harris XI-39 Second - To Tell The Truth Brian Yamashita X-51 FOREIGN LANGUAGES First - Imitatio Horatio (Latin) Aubrey Hemminger XI-39 Second - La Vieille Mysterieuse Richard Woollard XI-39 Third - Au bord de I ' Assiniboine Gerry Collins XI1-36 Honourable Mention - Joie de Vivre Pat Lambert XI-29 I FOOD FOR THOUGHT When we speak of inflation today, we are not referring to the enlarging of some volleyball or balloon. We mean the rising cost of living coupled with rising wages, followed by rising prices, accompanied by the rising cost of living, resulting in rising wages, etc., etc., etc. Not unlike three yeast factories, each is trying to out-rise the others. The solution to this crisis is obvious and simple. First, the government forces all wages to be lowered. Second all prices must be lowered so that the ex-affluent people of the country will be able to buy the goods on sale. Of course, as with any sure solution, there are drawbacks. In the few months between the lowering of wages and the lowering of prices, many Canadians may starve to death. The survivors, however, will cheer the government as heartily as possible. Some may not be able to issue forth any audible sound, but the thought will be there. Others may ide of exhaustion, for cheering requires the consumption of many hard-earned calories of work. In one hearty, Hurrah! many Canadians, in their weakened state, may expend all the energy that they had consumed in the previous two weeks. The people who will survive this fasting will be, of course, the fat, the rich, and the thieving. The Prime Minister cannot be expected to survive, but any new government, I hope, will have the willpower to uphold the austerity policies vitlined by its late predecessor. In case of enemy at’ , the remaining two million Canadians, I am sure, will rally together to defend any part of the nations as long as their skeleton-like bodies stand. Our neighbour to the south will 46 quickly denounce any foreign power that dares to attack. To be sure, these problems will be faced with the fortitude for which all Canadians are noted. After two or three months, the wholesalers and retailers will be forced to yield. Prices will drop drastically and people will swarm into the reopened supermarkets to eat the new-spoiled foods. Animals would have to be imported from other countries and electricity would once again be gerierated. People would be buried, and cities would have to be cleaned up. The five hundred thousand Canadians still alive would, of course, bathe and purchase cheap, new clothing. Wages and prices, albeit low, will be almost compatible. I, myself, risking induction into the U.S. Army, will live in the United States during this time. Brian Yamashita. VORNE Now the city of Vorne was a beautiful city, being constructed entirely of delicate coral from the sea. Its avenues were flanked with graceful trees, and ever led into luxurious and fragrant gardens. These avenues were composed of the purest ivory and borrowed from the setting sun flaming orange. The people of Vorne were fair to look upon, having hair of molten sunigiht and frank blue eyes. They labored but little in the fertile valley of their city; and neither did they build, for Vorne had been erected in remote times before their history. In Vorne there could always be heard the sound or music and singing and laughter, and be seen the exquisite ivory sculptures of the artists of Vorne. But there came one day a stranger into Vorne, a swart man with hair and clothes of desolate black. When the people of Vorne gathered about him, he gazed up with eyes of blazing unspoken evil, and there fell a hush on Vorne. And this strange, swart man trod the avenues of Vorne, and there did follow him a dark shadow. For truly, he had only to turn his evil eyes upon the people of Vorne for their singing to stop and discord to break out. This man had been in Vorne but two days when the city changed to the eyes of the people. The coral buildings became as bleak granite, and all that was ivory turned to dust. The soft and flowing gardens were removed and clumps of grey thorns, extending vicious, twisted arms into the pathways were put in their stead. The very people of Vorne became warped and ugly, and laughed not. They scuttled down ruined alleys where once they strolled, hissing malic¬ iously where once they sang. The stranger, perceiving this change, continued down the river to Cymanth. He looked back once and smiled a quick, savage smile. But the golden city of Cymanth shone In the distance, and so he hurried on. Suspicion was his name. Jack Harris. 47 Football This year was a rebuilding year for the Daniel McIntyre Maroons. The main problem with the team was inexperience; there were in fact, fourteen rookies in the starting lineup. Although the team did not win a Daniel Share of its games, the scoreboard results were certainly not indicative of its play. The boys showed a lot of hustle, exemplifying the trademark of a Daniel ball club. Thanks go to Mr. Bruzell, Jim Scalena, and Mr. Hamerton for their fine coaching. FRONT ROW: Beng Tyson, Chuck Sandberg, Harold Johnson, Vincenzo Bueti, Don Fennel, George Klein, Brian Cameron, Randy Terauchi, Tom Yamashita, Ed Hume; SECOND ROW; Randy Thorvaldson, John Jameson, Earl Fowke, Jack Olynick, Doug Sargent, Brian Proctor, Bruce McCormack, Wayne Pelland, Bruce Hanson; THIRD ROW: Dune Smith, George Klassen, Gary Ardron, Chub Chabot, Bob Fabris, Bob Tuck, Mauro Dobran, Vince Houghton, Greg Delorme; FOURTH ROW: Mr. Hamerton, George Maskiw, George Butz, Phil Tynes, Paul Johnson, John Durham, Kimberly King, Larry Ogrodnick, Herb Menzel, Mr. Bothe. Cross Country The 1969 Cross Country Team again demonstrated Daniel ' s superiority in this sport by winning both the city and provincial championships. Amazingly they accomplished this despite defaulting one regularly scheduled race. Their spirit and hard work throughout the season was well in keeping with the traditions of Daniel ' s teams. 54 Girl’s Cross Country The girls ' cross country team did quite well in competition this year. Having won a good proportion of their races, they advanced to the provincial finals. They were not, however successful in competition with the cream of the Manitoba girls ' cross country crop. The team would like to thank Mr. Shewin for his fine coaching. Gail Houlden, Linda Humeniuk, Pat Burdon, Nancy Sigfusson, Grace Houlden, Sally Bodnar, Laura Ozimek. Varsity Soccer Varsity Soccer again had a triumphant season, losing only one game in regular league play and defeating St. John ' s for the City Championship. The team travelled to Brandon to play Neelin Collegiate for the Provincial title. Despite a rather rough night, the team managed to defeat Neelin in two straight games. The team would like to thank Mr. Fraser, Mr. Hocking and the Cheerleaders for their assistance. FRONT ROW: Romeo Berti, John Gottli, Juvenal Furtado, Stan Macario, Brad Stevens. SECOND ROW: Mr.Fraser, Imre Nyiri, Dave Parks, Erwin Wesenberg, Andrew Megyeri, Cyril McFall, Ferdinand Diubaldo, Joseph Gottli, Mr. Hocking. 56 FRONT ROW: Randy Hyra, Wayne Kwamsoos, George Bonas, Mike Nardfield, Giovanni Versace, Loris Vendramelli, Brian Yamashita. SECOND ROW: Jim Duncan, Tony Garofalco, Ken Krochenski, William Wiens, Hal Pruden, Joe Bogdanch, Joe McStravick, Mark Horvath, Mr. Rohs. I Freshman Soccer Daniel this year was again provided with many fine soccer players from the various Junior High schools in the area. The Freshman Team lost two regular season games and was narrowly defeated by R.B. Russell for the City title. The team would like to thank Jim Duncan and Mr. Rohs for their coaching and assistance throughout the year. 57 Varsity Basketball Again, this year’s varsity basketball team proved to be a winner. The team won nearly all of its league games and in exhibition play, scored an important victory over Glenlawn. Although they lost the right to play for the city championship by a loss to Tec-Voc, they were accorded the right to compete for the provincial title. The team would like to thank Mr. Hamerton for his fine coaching throughout the season. .. 11 ; jrt. SSH h Fv 4 v 1 ' if .. fl FRONT ROW: Cliff Richardson, Bary Fong, Mike Nardiello, Barry Hunter, Joe Kalcsics, Loris Vendramelli, George Klassen. SECOND ROW: Harold McPetrie, Bob Tuck, Paul Butra, Henry Dyck, John Harrison, John Brand, Hal Pruden, Dave Allen, Kerry Mclnnes. Freshman Boys’ Basketball The Freshman Boys ' Basketball team, as is usual for Daniel teams, was a top contender for the city championship. Having won their share of games, Mr. Hocking ' s crew advanced to the finals where, unfortunately, they were beaten out. There are some good prospects for next year’s varsity team, however. The team would like to thank their coach for his guidance. Varsity Girls’ Basketball Daniel ' s Varsity Girls ' Basketball team came on strong this year, winning several key games to make the play-offs. However, in a close game with Tec-Voc their Championship hopes were shattered. Thanks to Mr. Schreyer and Bang Tyson, for their coaching and assistance throughout the season. FRONT ROW: Helen Rzeszutek, Susan Lawler, Sharon Brandow, Nora Nolette, Gail Houlden. SECOND ROW: Mr. Schreyer, Karen Wensel, Janet Pazdor, Janice Wright, Judy Wilkins, Joanne Downie, Rosemary Papetti, Beng Tyson. FRONT ROW: Rosemary Pankiw, Maureen Johnson, Nancy Sigurdson, Heather Lindsay, Linda Humeniuk. SECOND ROW: Gail Critchley, Janis Magnusson, Margo Tynes, June Pospishell, Terry Heidrick, Kim Albrecht, Lucille Dercola, Madalynne lannone, Lorraine Brandson (coach). Girls’ Freshman Basketball The Freshman Girls ' made a good showing in inter-school competition this year. They did win a good many of their games but were edged out in the end-of-season race for play-off berths. Thanks go to Lorraine Brandson and Thom Yamashita for their coaching. 62 Curling-Boys ' Although the boys ' curling team did not fair too well in inter-school competition, there was a good deal of fine play between the various teams within the club. Curling, it seems, is a sport of growing recreational importance to Daniel. The boys would like to thank Mr. Harvey for his guidance throughout the year. Exec-Dave Parkes, Bruce Hemmett, DaveTowerzy. ALL TYPES OF MECHANICAL POWER TRANSMISSION PRODUCTS SP-29541 122 SOME QUOTATIONS ...in the circumstances which Canada faces today, and has faced now for a good many years, a mixed economic system is the most appropriate form of economic organization for the development of our country; a mixed economic system composed of a public sector, a co-operative sector, and a private enterprise sector. -Rt. Hon. L.B. Pearson The Co-operative Movement offers one of the best means by which people can have a voice in determining their economic destiny. Co-operatives make it possible for consumers and producers alike to exercise some control of the means by which they live. To the consumers they represent savings in their daily purchases. To the producers they ensure a fair return for their product. Co-operatives should have the wholehearted support of all those who favor economic democracy and social justice. An expanding co-operative movement wi ll assure a strong democracy and a more just society for all Canadians. -T. C. Douglas, M. P. Economic co-operation is a technique by which men have discovered how to carry on business without taking any toll from their fellows. It is thus the ultimate in justice. The Late Rev. Fr. (Dr.) M.M. Coady, Antigonish, Nova Scotia. We present these quotations, with greetings and best wishes to the Students of Daniel McIntyre collegiate Institute. RED RIVER CO-OP LTD. The right medicine to reduce her fever. Your druggist is an expert on modern drugs. He ' s the man with a university back¬ ground who is concerned about your family ' s health. He ' s the man that has become a part of the community you live in and he ' s working for that community. He ' s the man that has extended his services over the years to serve you better in many ways. Today you call on him for brand name merchandise ranging from hair spray to toothpaste. And as a member of A.R.P. , he is enjoying the benefit of volume buying on merchandise and passing these savings on to you, his customer. But his main concern is your health. He ' s an expert, a member of a professional team working along with your doctor to protect your health. He ' s a man you can rely on at all times.
