I believe that I could never find a school I had rather be in or boys that I had rather coach than the Lions of Daniel High. I am extremely proud of you this year, not because you won but for the gallant way in which you played. I suppose it is the dream of every coach to have boys with the desire and the will to win. For me that dream has become a reality. I will always cherish the memories of this team. When this year started we were conceded no chance of winning the Conference Championship. Time and time again you came from behind to prove to me and our fans that you were of the stuff that makes great men. That big Conference Championship trophy will long beautify our trophy case, but the memory of working with fine Christian boys as you, will linger much longer. W. H. BAGWELL X f... No, l don't think that is a good idea at alll Oh, those exclarnations never end. Mr. Ammons was swell and so was Emery in getting those pictures made and developed. Nevertheless, everything was in quite a mess, but somehow, as always, we came through. Last, but certainly not least, we were ready to mail in the dummy. That day was when all of us, Mrs. Richardson, Joan, Jack, John, Linda, Jimmy, Earl, and Emery were relieved. We had finally reached our goal and the feeling of satisfaction was great.
