Talent Blossoms At Spring Concert Tom and Mr. M try to keep in tune. A talented Todd Depre tills in for Mr. M, Dave prepares tor a county competition. Under the direction ot Mr. Joseph Mclamany, the band worked many hours preparing tor their only ap- pearance at the Annual Spring Concert on May 10, 1985. The Concert Band, unlike the Stage Band, played a variety ot songs from classical and modern music selec- tions such as ln the Hall of the Mountain King, and Where No Man Has Gone Before. 64 Concert Band Standing Stage: Seth Riegel, Lisa Wink, Tom Groscup, Mark Kennedy, Robin Barnes, Matt Rrssmiller, Eric Feick, Bill Eschbach. Junior Band Gives Various Performances During the 1984-85 school year, the Junior Band worked harmonious- ly under the direction of Miss Linda Texter. This group of musically inclined seventh and eighth grade students practiced dili- gently for Senior High Band. They displayed the results of their hard work at the Halloween parades, Homecoming game, and Spring Concert. The Junior Stage Band is an elite group of students from grades seven through nine. Under the direction of Miss Linda Texter, the jazz band competed against other stage bands at Wilson High School. Under the dtrectton ot Mr, loseph Mclamany, the Dan- rel Boone Frontrersmen earned excellent ratrngs at three competitrons: Oley Valley, Wrllrams Valley, and Northwest Lehrgh. The twenty member razz ensemble hosted the D.B. Sounds Spectacular held March 23, 1985, and made rts fmal appearance at the Sprung Concert, where all the sensors were honored.
