Spunky Singers Shine The Junior Chorus, consisting of sev- enth and eighth grade students, per- formed several lighthearted selections for the Christmas and Spring Concerts. Miss Hagenberger instructed the Chorus during their Christmas performances which in- cluded a senior citizens dinner and the Christmas Assembly. Mrs. Weinhold di- rected the members in the spring. The entertaining young vocalists proved to be very talented and hold potential for se- nior choir membership. Elite Singers Chosen Chorale includes a select group ot Senior Choir vocalists who specialize in a harmonized and well balanced sound. This year's chorale consisted ot fourteen members. In addition to singing with the choir, the members performed numbers, such as White Christmas and a collection from Foot- loose, chosen especially for them. Junior Band Gives Various Performances During the 1984-85 school year, the Junior Band worked harmonious- ly under the direction of Miss Linda Texter. This group of musically inclined seventh and eighth grade students practiced dili- gently for Senior High Band. They displayed the results of their hard work at the Halloween parades, Homecoming game, and Spring Concert. The Junior Stage Band is an elite group of students from grades seven through nine. Under the direction of Miss Linda Texter, the jazz band competed against other stage bands at Wilson High School.
