A trusty library assistant can be found creeping behind the shelves of books or stamping out reading materi- al on any given day. Diane Hart, speak- ing on behalf of the majority of library assistants, says that the best thing about being a library assistant is hav- ing the chance to help other students f use the library. Under the supervision of Miss Braun, club members used their artistic talents to come to the aid of those who needed their skills. Mrs. Wagner warns Mr. Ulrich about what will happen it he eats too many cookies. The Daniel Boone Youth Education Association is a service organization which helps people throughout the school and the community. This year DBYEA sponsored a toys for tots dance to collect toys for needy children. The club also sponsored a festive Christmas tea for teachers. Throughout the year the club featured Spotlight on a Teach- er and highlighted a teachers activities. Prizes were awarded and homeroom doors were decorated. Under the advisorship of Miss Rhude, the club had much fun while still benefiting from the activities. i My D.B.Y.E.A. members serve delicious Christmas treats. Sondra Swisher and Miss Rhude sample goodies before the teachers arrive.
