D.B. Sluggers Score A Grand Slam Record With the crack of a bat and the call of the ump, the '85 team did their best to get the ball moving. The golden glove outfield easily caught long flies and the infield jumped on the short hits. DB pitchers deceived their opponents' eyes and the Blazer runners took advantage of slow pitchers by stealing bases. Dave Swavely shocked opponents with his superb fielding ability, and the specta- tors applauded Ron Leinbach's outstanding catches in the outfield. The supernormal line up of seniors helped guaran- tee a smashing season.
