The theme ofthe pageant was centered around Mickey Mouse and his Disneyland friends. For her talent Diane played the piano and recited a monologue on the history of music in the twentieth century. She was judged on youth fitness, evening gown lpoise and appearancej, talent, scholastic achievement, and the judges' interview. Diane did an excellent job. She not only won the poise and appearance award, but she also won the title of Berks County's Junior Miss. From there she went to the Pennsylvania Junior Miss Pageant where she not only represented our school but also our county. We should be proud ofher. .
