FOREWORD The value of a school annual lies in ils ability to recall experiences which the student wishes to remember, to relive for the individual those days which are past and In gathering material for this, the 1938 edition of The Trail, we have attempted to catch the mood of the school, the students and faculty members. We have endeavor- Activities of the individuals on the campus, the athletic life of the school, extra- have attempted to reconstruct in a small way every important event that took place If the book serves its purpose—bears living memories of the school down through the years to come—then we feel that we have solved the great problem that faced us as the year began.
