Ftzczzliy fldzifer .gil HERE WE SEE the picture of a woman who has infinite patience and much good judgment-our class adviser, Miss Treadwell. She has cheerfully withstood all the headaches and difficulties that have come with the task of being a class adviser, and for that we greatly admire her. She has so quietly and unassumingly carried out her manifold duties of handling cash funds, of advising the yearbook staff and of supervising lesser class affairs that few are aware of the grand job that she has done. Her constant willingness to work and her conscientious efforts in our behalf are among the many factors that aided us through our senior year. If in future times any class of D. H. S. has need of a class adviser, we of nineteen forty-two can give Miss Treadwell a wholehearted recommendation. D, H. S. 1912 I'..., . Miss MARioN TREADWELL

MORE OF Us have been advised by Mr. Floyd than by any other member of our faculty. It is Mr. Floyd on whom the burden of managing us through our per' sonal troubles has fallen. It is he. too, whom we have consulted about the arrangement and adjustment of our schedules and about any other private matters that may have confronted us. During all the time that we have been in contact with him, Mr. Floyd has always been more than fair and earnest about our welfare. We have always had the most complete confidence and respect for him for he has invariably given us his time and attention unselfishly and im- partially. The wisdom and foresight that he has shown in dealing with us will always be remembered. To Mr. Floyd we offer our warmest thanks for the fine start that he has helped give us. MR. CHESTIR E. FLOYD Vice Principlzl
