Activities Of all the activities scheduled by Student Council and various other clubs on campus, dances prevailed as the top money-makers. With four dances selling out and high attendance at all the others, it appears as though the plan for more high-quality bands at fewer dances was successful. The money went to various clubs, classes and causes including everything from lighting the Porthole to paying off athletic debts. Among the bands that played this year that were highly regarded were 2002, The Bytes, Nightwallser, and Theme Tots. Others who weren't so well thought of were The Bachelors, The Acrylics, and Hlkodney from KROQY' Decorations also seemed to be a higher priority at dances. The Homecoming dance boasted Hollywood glitter fitting its theme, the Surf Stomp was scattered with various beach accessories, and throughout the dance floor of Sadie I-lawltins were bales of hay. When aslsed his favorite dance, Senior Class President Brad Kinney replied, l thought the Surf Stomp featuring QOO2 was the ' ' hottest! 1. The Theme Tots are o favorite local band at Dana Hills. 2. The T'Bartle af the Bands held onlfebruary 24 produced stiff competition for its participants. CS.
