A 4 in f 1 f '.X A I The first holiday of the season, Halloween, was a fun-filled day with a large number of students and some teachers dressed for the occasion. Throughout the hallways were familiar faces such as those of ET., Kermir the Frog, and even Tweety Bird. During lunch there was a pep rally, and the class competition was a pin-rhe-face-anftheepumplsin contest. Thanksgiving seemed to slip by almost unnoticed, except for the fact that it provided students with a four-day weelsendz ASU attempted to have a hat day, but it proved relatively unsuccessful. The weels before Christmas offered numerous activities that boosted the holiday spirit. Wednesday was Bell Day and Thursday was Christmas hat day, the class competitions were a candy cane pass and a round of musical chairs. The highlight of the weels was Friday, which was red and green day, and lunchtime offered the popular lip-sync contest. The seniors placed first with their version of a surfing Santa tune. The sophomores came in a close second, and the juniors placed third. As for rhe freshmen, with The Twelve Days of Chrisrmas Sesame Street style . . . well, maybe next year. Student Council members rehearse their roles before the Halloween pep rally 2. Dan Moomaw and Aga Paigle join together for a chorus of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Elizabeth Lawrence fiddles away before an exuberant Christmas crowd. A, Freshmen Moira Quinn, lohn Anderson, Declsy Keenan, Lucy Viguerie and Sunny Clausen performed their lipfsync to a Sesame Street tune. 5 Jill Deoreo and Tison Tealy are on their TOGS and ready for the next round of musical chairs o.
