-.f 'fr 1 f i I l vi Q l - Maureen Quinn, who started running in junior high school, was inspired by her older sister, as well as by Mr. Duchheim, who helped her to achieve her main goals and helped to build her selfeconfidences ln addition to running, Maureen loved going to the beach, being with her friends, skiing, and playing soccer, She received awards in soccer, cross country, and rrack, including Most Aggressive Runner and Outstanding Distance Runner. My main goal is to achieve the highest potential possible, whether it be in high school or college. I would also like to keep breaking my personal records in running. She does plan to keep running in college and would like to go to San Diego State or a state university. Mike was chosen as an outstanding junior for his accomplishments in running both cross country and track Inspired and supported by both Coach Durler and his parents, Mike has become one of the finest runners at Dana Hills. Some of Mike's other hobbies are soccer, dancing and girls. A goal of Mike's is ro have the track team get first in C.l.F. Cello Brings David Satisfaction, Pleasure Outstanding junior David Orlandello was undoubtedly the best cellist in the school, holding the position of first chair. Although he loves to play, he does not plan to pursue his playing as a profession, but simply for self-satisfaction. During David's freeetime he enjoys horseback riding, playing volleyball, and whenever possible, snow skiing. When asked what has been his favorite aspect of Dana Hills, he replied, Of course my education always came first, but I also enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with old friends.
