Four Set P.S.A.T. Record Based on the results of the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test CP.S.A.T.D taken in the junior year, students are commended if they scare within the top 11: of their peers nationwide. ln order to qualify as a semi-finalist, a student must be in the top .52 ranls. There are approximately 15,000 semi-finalists nationwide. Incredibly, Dano Hills had four of these National Merit Scholars. Kristin White, Jean Johnson, Duane Griswold, and Andrea Penmon, Two other srudents, Bob Leeburg and Dan Wolfe, were also commended for their outstanding scores. Four semi-finalists are more than we hove ever had ot one time in Dana Hills' history. Kristin White commented, The whole thing is bosically for your ego - it looks great on your transcripts. Those semi-finalists were required to fill out forms describing their activities, grades, test scores CS.A.T, and A.C.T.D, recommendations ond financial needs.
