llllllllllllIllIllIlllllIlllllllllllllllllllllll Students Learn To Survive Parenthood Child Development, led by Ms. Mellenger, was a club that taught students the many slsills, demands, and responsibilities of parenting and worl-:ing with children. Students who participated in this club stayed during their lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays to maintain a day-care center for children from the area. This way the students were able to teach as well as learn from the lsids who came. The students had several theme related days such as Rainbows in which the children would enjoy a fun activity or craft pertaining to the theme. The most successful theme was the Christmas party where the children enjoyed making Rudolph hand puppets, listening to Christmas stories, and even sitting on Santa's lap. 5.
