The adventurous students backpacked for the weekend of December 8 rhrough snovvecovered valleys and mountains. The students carried their every need for survival on their backs and were responsible for cooking their own meals as well as pitching their own tents ar night. Long hikes during the day were inrerrupted with frequent snovvball fights, the polo boys chanting their army songs, and studies of rhe environment. During rhe cold nights of 2 degrees students huddled around bonfires to tell jokes and listen to Mr. Cunningham's astronomy talks. 1 Advisors Jack Dickmann, Dill Cunningham, and students try ra warm up a cold morning with hot chocolate 2 Dan Fresh hurls snovvballs at his rivals. 3 SIERRA SURVIVAL CLUB' Ctronrb J Fresh, A.
