Green, white, and carnations recall the wonderful Senior- Sophomore Banquet. Spread XVeckend saw the cadets adorned with signs, hats, argyles, and plaid shirts. Our last class project was the lively Sopho- more Party. W'e leave behind us our first and unforgettable year. uniors The monthly junior Iilfvfwi' kept all three classes informed of junior projects and activities. Voluntary -Iunior chapel and the Junior choir were uniting factors. Suspense, whispers, ring orders, and finally February 4th gave a new mean- ing to Pinocchio. Our Junior Party's Toyland brought to Dana Mother Goose, Uncle Remus, Fan- tasy Land. and W'innie the Pooh. XVe are the Class of 'S7,' . . . and what a class! onunifiecs The Dress Committee, initiating blue shirts. branded almost everyone with an Eastman-produced tag. Be- ing lost among shelves of books was no problem to the Library Committee who found and quieted all! The Hospitality Committee welcomed new girls and satisfied coffee drinkers. Dates, dances, and dining room decorations were syn- onymous with the Entertainment Committee.

crvice euguc Each girl is an active member of the Service League. Morning chapels and voluntary night chapels were led by students or outside speakers. Weekly' hospital work and Christ- mas caroling at hospitals received enthusiastic support. The board, be- sides sponsoring the Bazaar and May Day, conducted the impressive Har- vest and Candlelight Services. ggfuvlenf overn rn en i Every girl at Dana Hall has the opportunity of expressing her views in Student Government meetings, through the suggestion box and through the council members chos- en by the student body. Some high- lights of the year included a tele- gram to Ike on his birthday and a Boston judge who spoke on law. OCICS Theme decided . . . a traced dummy . . . curious roommates . . . false leads . . . tea time in Miss Grimes' room . . . business letters and large packages . . . worn Webster . . . dead on the deadline . . . haggard post oflice men . . . beautiful budget . . . millions of photographs . . . proofs checked . . . C : 11711167 All All of Dana is a stage in the Drama Club's opinion. This year's lirst un- dertaking was an assembly describ- ing the Mystery Cycles in prepara- tion for the Pine Manor Christmas production. In the spring, under the direction of Mrs. Stutz and student committee heads, Pwr' Gym' was presented. Even Broadway hits were moved to Boston for the club. The final meeting came to semi-order at a fun-filled picnic. urrenf ven fi Through the eyes and ears of the Current Events Club Dana kept in touch with the outside world. The club had a speaker on Asia and saw a filmstrip on Mid-Eastern problems. The Geneva Conference. farm situation, and Ike's decision were main points of interest in group discussions. 0- gfa Cia Three times a week girls eagerly poured into Bardwell for Glee Club rehearsals. Their hard work was rewarded as the Andover and Cov- ernor Hummer concerts, the New lfngland Preparatory School Festi- val. and the entertainment of the Unitarians of XVellesley Hills dem- onstrated. A successful year ended with Tfu' Mmry W'iifuu' and the realilation that the only way to say it is with n song.
