Dear Dana I-Iall girls: The annual privilege of a special Commencement greeting to the seniors at Dana is again mine, and I rise from the effects of a serious fall which has shut me away from you all this winter to assure you of my interest and goodwill. From all the reports I have received, I am certainly justified in my pride in your achievements. In your work, entertainments, and in sports you seem to have maintained our usual high standard, and you can imagine what a satisfaction it is to an elderly Ex-Principal to know that this class of 1952 can enter the leading colleges of their choice with the same reputation and character of the girls I have watched for fifty-two years. It is my hope that the continuation of your academic life will lead you all on into new and very influential positions, and that you will care to share with your older friends at Dana the fruits of your higher education and so strengthen your preparatory school home for those who follow you here. Loyal Alumnae greatly contribute to the destiny of worthy schools.
