Among the schools represented were Ringgold, Leurel Grove, Ock Grove, Glenwood, und Sutherlin, Due to the lirge number of pupils, the Freshmen Class wes divided into two sections, one section with Mr. Lonnie Stough, end the other Miss Hlsie Well directing. There were severcl medals uwerded tht year, end among them was the English Medel, won by Jessie Guill. She clso hid’ the honor of hevine the highest cverage. Ag The Freshmen entertcined themselves by, going to Birchland Perk for ¢ Weinie rozsts they were eccompanied by sever: 1 tecchers ind visitors. From the Freshmen Cless of seventy-four, the Senior Cliss hed now dwindled to twenty-seven, with iiss Dodson cs their Sponsore Los-. ing three during the term for vcricus rezsons, only twenty-four remeined to the end. Only two of the Seniors took pert in the debcting contest, but alees Haymes represented the school for spelling, Hlsie Collie for virls' public speckinge, end Cuthryn McNecly egcin recd for the girls. Seversl of the girls won honors on the busketbill tecm, while our boys will clwzys heve the hunor of szying, I helped to win the ‘County Chempionship’' ,. Billie Necl, the Cuptcin of the boys' tecm, was thu ster plzuyer. The Senior pliy, Meme's Baby Boy , was given April 14, 1934. Those who dic not perticipcte in the pliy were ushers, doorkeepers, or on the cdvertising committee. One of the bigvest events of the your was the Junior-Senior Benquoct, given April 10. The cuditorium wes becutifully decorzited in the schcol colors, blue cnd white. The Juniors were hosts to the Seniors, Apna and Bus Driver, und dundy hosts they were.
