Jordan The Primary aim of the FFA is the develop- ment among its members of agricultural leader- ship, co-operation and citizenship. Our largest proiect last year was Miracle Day where 125 acres was made into a farm in one day. This year over one-half the boys in the FFA own their own cows on the Miracle Farm pasture. These members will hold their own livestock show on April 19. For a group project this year the FFA is growing three acres of garden corn. The Fort Pierce FFA was first in the nation among 9,000 other groups last year in prac- ticing Farm Safety and second in co-operative activities.

Future Homemakers of America have the aim to live better today in order that our lives and those of our families may be better tomorrow. The F .H.A. motto is Toward New Horizons, its colors are red and white and the Flower, a red rose, which signifies vibrant, glowing health. The purposes of this organization are to promote a growing appreciation of the ioys and satisfactions of homemaking, to emphasize the importance of worthy home membership, to encourage democracy in home and community life, to work for a good home and family life for all, to foster the development of creative leadership in home and community life, to provide wholesome individual and group recreation and to further interest in home economics.
