The 1961 Seniors of Dalton High have allhad ahappy, healthy, and fortunate twenty years since their graduation. The reunion is a surprise to LINDA ZIEGLER who became a public school teacher many years ago and recently was recognized nation-wide as a Master Teacher . Yes, she is teaching the children of Nebraska. BRUCE KREAGER, the famous radio and television personality who has for the past number of years been featured on This is Your Life program made all arrangements for this reunion. .TIM HENKE boarded a jet in South America, He has been engineering the construction of a large dam in the upper Amazon regions, Jim was accompanied by his pretty wife. CHUCK KRAGEL flew in from Yale University, He was recently employed by the Yale Athletic Department as a physicaltherapeutist. No one can understand why Chuck is still single. SHIRLEY BROWN and she now uses the name Shirley Gillespie--arrived with her husband and three children by plane yesterday. Shirley and Leon are very happy with their little family and their ranch life a few miles from Dalton. NANCY HOLDEN traveled the greatest distance, She has been in missionary work for a number of years on the African Continent, She is the first to remind you that the pay of a missionary is not in money but in the souls saved. DOUG KLINC-E was unable to travel by air. He is working in a remote section of the Montana forests. Pack mules carried him the first twenty miles to the Great Northern Railway. His long whiskers reflect the lonely type of life had by a forest ranger, CAROL HUTZENBILER resides in the small Nebraska town of Bridgeport, Her husband is a rich suitcase farmer and realtor , Carol informs us that the entire family will vacation in Hawaii next summer, .T IM APPLEGATE graduated from Colorado State University. He has been married the past eighteen years and at present is employed in Washington, D,C, It is rumored that he will be considered for the next Secretary of Agriculture, JERRY FLORA graduated from M,I.T, As usualhewas the top scholar. Industrial organizations were enthusiastic about securing his services, but Jerry answered a call from the United States government and at present is directing the atomic energy developments. MARY JO MARRIN has reached apinnacle of success. She now spends most of the day in the White House in Washington, D,C, She majored in journalism at Loretta Heights and is now social press secretary to the First Lady of the land. JUDY MEAD is another contented homemaker and farmer's wife, She and her husband live on a farm just north of Gurley, Nebraska. Oil was recently discovered on their land. Judy remarks Things will be a little more convenient around the place from now on . J ANICE NELCK fulfilled her high school dreams by becoming a registered nurse. After graduation from the University of Wyoming, Janice did considerable traveling from one hospital to another, Recently she was employed in Walter Reed Hospital. JIM WHITE learned the grocery trade in Heizers' Grocery at Dalton, He became an expert meat cutter. Recently he purchased the grocery and is realizing a nice income from meat, locker, and gro- cery business, BUTCH WESTERHOFF registered at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel this evening. He is never seen these days without that baritone horn. I-Ie secured a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Hastings College and immediately entered the coaching field, He is still undecided about his first love-- music or women. Yes, he is still a bachelor, The party has been a big success, What will the next twenty years bring, and how many of these happy class members will be present to enjoy another reunion?
