What a big year it was as we met our classmates, rode on the bus for the first time, or walked proudly toward the sound of the bell which called us to come in- side. We learned how to print our name besides the social arts of sharing, learning discipline, and getting along with other people. lt was our first step away from the sheltering walls of home. 22
