Ggrzkfmas Op ereffa -A jire Gomes Cganfa GQUSQ s X S IN QUEST OF SANTA CLAUSE Jane, a little girl who is anxious to find Santa Clause, starts off in search of him. She knows he lives in the land of the North Star. People she met were unable to help her. Be- cause she regrets being naughty and unkind, Christmas fairies guide her in the quest for Santa Clause. Jane is warned by the fairies against the spirit of Selfishness and Cruelty. She loses her way and wanders into the Spirit's cave. The Spirit of Love takes Jane away. They reach Santa Clauses court in safety, to Jane's delight. Santa Clause tells her she can go home in his sleigh. The directors were Ronald Wingo and Robert Rea. Mothers made the costumes.

ANNIE GET YOUR GUN On December 12, an all school cast produced the play ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, with Mr. Buter- baugh as Director. The leading parts were played by Audrey Kragel as Annie Oakley, ,Terry McRoberts as Frank Butler, Butch Westerhoff as Buffalo Bill, Chuck Kragel as Charlie Davenport, Tom Eckert as Foster Wilson, Mary Jo Marrin and Carol Hutzenbiler as Frank But1er's female assistants, and Ed Hinman as Chief Sitting Bull. in There were five scene changes which included a hotel scene, circus scene, cattle boat scene, train scene, and garden scene. Mrs. Buterbaugh, Mrs. White and Mrs. Wingo painted a large mural mountain scene for the background.

In the afternoon, the girls held a style show Dalton modeled the fashions pic- tured on this pa ge. The local chapter had its annual Christmas partyg the girls made favors for the hospital, sang carols and had re- freshments. The major project for this year was the purchasing of the F. H. A, uniform. Some of the of- ficers are pictured below. Mrs. Tyler is the F. H. A, Sponsor.
