It seems as though Bob Warren has finally found the girl of his dreams. They have a big ranch in Colorado and raise Palominos as a hobby ....... Elsie Boyer now has her own private dancing studio in Denver. She specializes in the modern bop--one of her best students is from Hemingford ...... . Bob Beyer is now a multi-millionaire. It seems he is still judging hogs but only in his spare time. Incidentally he has his own radio station, WBOB ....... Arriving in a red and white thunderbird is Mrs. Ronald Dvkman, formerly known as Betty Gillespie. Ronnie and she are the new managers of the John Deere Company. Inci- dentally they now have two sets of twins ....... Ron Warren has now retired from pro football and is coaching a team of his own. Ron finally found a girl to support him. It seems they are getting along very well ....... The famous author Carol Heine has written a new book on etiquette called Get Hep. She also has three television shows for teenagers ....... Marjorie Frerichs is happier than ever. She and her husband, Larry Rapp, have done so well in the trailer business that they are taking a second honeymoon to the Riviera in their new Edsel ....... They have six children and it seems Gary is getting frustrated as his wife insists on the children's boxing lessons ....... Believe it or not, a man has finally caught and married the former Anna Faye Weed. She is still working at the Sands Hotel, the famous night club in Las Vegas, but it is rumored that her husband is going to make her quit so she will Stay home and cook for him ....... The annual Dalton Fall Festi val was held September 16 and 17 . On the evening of the 16th Dalton played a football game with McGrew . The school was honored by having Judy Pelster and Betty Gillespie as attendants to the queen, Penny Meyers . On the l7th school was dis- missed. The band led the par ade, which was held in the morning. The school had a float entered in the parade under the theme Nebraska History. The Indians on the float were: Martha Boyer, Terry Van Anne It is an old tradition for the Senior Class of Dalton High School to initiate the green- horns. This year the Freshman Initiation was held September sixth. The seniors planned the costume which the freshmen had to wear all day and to the ceremony in the evening. At the ceremony the freshmen were served a Very delicious lunch. After the initiation a dance was held. The evening's fun began with a program by the grade school with the theme centering around A Western Campfire. The main concession stands were zingo, a fish pond, a miniature theater, and wrestling. The king and queen for the evening were Carolyn Nelson and James Zeigler. Mrs . Ben Pelster won the electric blanket and john Adams won the twin lamps . Proceeds of 35375 went to the Senior Class treasury. Meanwhile the mountain was all agog over the homecoming of the Triffet Girls, portrayed by Marge Buck and Ellen Holden.
