1413 3 Campbell has been In the employment of the Dalton Local Board of Education for the past ten years. She haS ' been an outstanding English and Latin teacher. ‘ ' any of her stu¬ dents have achieved success and prominence by rating high in the Ohio Scholarship tests. Her latest achievement has been the success of her Latin pupils in the Tri-State Latin Con¬ test held at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Miss Campbell has also served as our school librarian during these years. The library has grown to be one of the largest and best and most used of our local high school li¬ braries. Her work in this department has been one of the factors that helped Dalton Local Schools to achieve an excel¬ lent rating onthe recent examination by the State Department of Education. Many of the students will look back to her kindness and sympathy in the classroom. The faculty as well as the stu¬ dents will miss her friendly smile and ever pleas ant attitude Inthe times of stress and trouble. We wish for her continued success and happiness in the coming years of her retirement after the completion of thirty years inthe teaching profess¬ ion. - 6 -
