The Class of 1946 humbly presents the first edition of the Dalton High School Annual with the earnest hope that it will, in some measure, portray the moving pano- rama of high school life. Although the Annual deals more specifically with the activities of the Senior “class, we have tried to include a sample of all phases of student life as represented by the four classes. We believe that for most of us these four years in high school will have a lasting significance in our lives andtherefore it is entirely fitting and appropri- ate that we embody these impressions in permanent form. As we grow older, happy memories of school days bring tremors through these pages and recallthe happy scenes and evi- dence of work well done. For that reason many pictures of classes and extra-curricular groups have been inclu- ded in recognition of their contribution to Dalton High School. We hope this Annual will mean all these things to you and that the oncoming classes will continue with this work to make it one of the traditions of D. H. S. The Staff wishes to acknowledge the cooperation of the entire student body and especially do we wish to thank our faculty advisers for their guidance and en- couragement. We wish also to extend our appreciation to Mr. Davis for taking our pictures and all others who a warm glow to our hearts.
