Senior Cla££ Mi tory Four years ago, the present Senior Class entered school with an enrollment of twenty-six. They were namely: Valada Barton, Martha Bone, Jo Etta Brinkley, Guyman Bridgeman, Robert Blanchard, Eunice Croft, Nancy Brown, Ruby Hancock, Gene Prow, Generia Robards, Randle Riley, J. T. Wyatt, Edgar Jones, Tommy Zentmire, Ola Mae Johnston, Jo Nell Kirkwood, Anita Hollis, Helen Prow, J. D. Franklin, E, L. Ramsey, Clyde Ratliff, Jerry Herron, Junior Utley, Edith Hale, Katherine Weir, and myself, Reed Peyton. We selected the following class officers: President-------------------------------- Reed Peyton Vice-President---------------------------------------Jerry Herron Secretary-Treasurer-----------------------Ola Mae Johnston Our sponsor was the principal, Mr. Arnold Hicks. In our sophomore year the following quit school: Valada Barton, Ruby Hancock, Guyman Bridgeman, Tommy Zentmire, and Eunice Croft. J. T. Wyatt remained a freshman. Genera Robards moved to Madisonville. Edgar Jones went to Nortonsville. Betty Day entered our class from Charleston. This left an enroll- ment of nineteen. During this year Betty Day was chosen as a cheerleader. She also ran for the beauty contest and won second place. Our officers were: President--------------------------------------Betty Day Vice-President-------------------------------J unior Utley Secretary-Treasurer----------------- ---Ola Mae Johnston Our sponsor was the principal, Mr. A. O. Richards. In our third year we lost three of our members. Jo Etta Brinkley moved to Providence. Betty Day returned to Charleston. Gene Prow moved to Madisonville. Roena Good entered from Charleston. This left an enrollment of seventeen. This year our officers were: President------------------------------------Junior Utley Vice - President----------------------------- Randle Riley Secretary-Treasurer------------------ --Ola Mae Johnston Our sponsor was the principal, Mr. A. O. Richards. One of our members, J. D. Franklin, won a trip to Richmond, Virginia, by writing a theme on What I Have Done In The 4-H Club . Buddie Hale and Helen Prow were chosen as cheerleaders. We took our trip to Nashville to see the Grand Ole1 Opery. 13
