SENIOR CLASS OF 1947-48 The Senior Class of 1948 is not what you would say a real dignified bunch. For instance, nobody that knew Ruby Helen (Jackson) Williams could say that she was dignified because she is always full of life. Then there is Jo Nell (Williams ,Vyatt. She is a lit- tle more on the quiet side, but she is a real nice person. Dorothy Utley always had a smile for all, a greeting glad, a lovable, jolly way she had. Laura Adkins is a little shy, yet everyone will find this sort to be sincere and kind. Y illadean Neisz, better known as Billie, is remember- ed by her baby talk. Sue Zentmire, a little short and light, but her vir- tues far exceed her height. Boy! That Tea Bone is on the ball all the time. He is a swell sport and is liked by all his D. H. S. pals. Robert Coleman, who is short in stature, but tall in ambition, is a little bit quieter than Ted, but is still plenty loud. Kammack Utley, a good natured chap, is always a sport and is liked by everyone. Robert ftatliff is a sv ell kid, although we haven't seen much of him this year. His thoughts seem to be in the Sophomore class. Clifton Gibbons is really a nice person. He is rather quiet but is full of life when he wants to be, and I th- ink he should be elected best dancer of the class. I, Lynn Capshaw, about the biggest nuisance of our class, am still waiting patiently to live in White Plains. By Lynn Capshaw r Roy Thompson Sar -ont At ax-jus irnest Holm«s iirnie hatlifi Lois Kiley Lucill a Utlev JUNIORS We the Junior Class of 1947-48 are looking forward to being dignified Seniors in the following year of 49 The Junior Class is a very jolly gang. Number one jo- lly Junior is Jean Ausenbaugh. She is very smart and friendly. Next to her is Douglas Cullen. He is the Captain of the Tiger team, and President of the Junior Class. George Downing is a very likeable boy most especially by Jean Ausenbaugh. Harold Kirkwood is the bashful type, although he does get around. Melvin Averitt is another Jolly Junior, en around much, but he is learning. He hasn't be- Ernest Holmes is the tall, dark-----and well you can guess. He also has a very large vocabulary. Roy Thompson is a very smart Junior. He has all A's on his report card, but as far as that goes anyone can have A's, that is-most anyone. Lois Riley, as everyone Knows, is the brain of the class. She is also a nice kid. Ann Hubbard is another smart Junior, smart as she, what a class! Annie Mae Ramsey is friendly and smart, liked by evoryone. Lucille Utley is very quiet and is a smart girl, is also liked by everyone. If all were as She is well She In conclusion, I, Ernie Ratliff, am very proud to be part of the jolly Juniors of 1947-48 of Dalton High. By Ernie Ratliff Sot-honors Class Teachers . Krs.
