Q' X0 Q9 , H,,,fSs?'f:- 1 H il' ' J. We can't forget our wonderful junior year which held so many special events. On September 4, 1957, we began our last year as underclassmen. We began our year by re-electing the officers of the previous year-Dick Wlitham, Chuck Sherman, Charlotta Filkins, and George Kendall. january and February brought a flood of salt-water taffy to Dalton. It was our candy sale under the supervision of Jim Irland and Betty Crosier. During basketball season, We sponsored dan-ces after the Friday- night home games. Our special event of the year was ordering our class rings. Do you remember how proud we were to have them? On june 15, 1958, came the extra special event for which we had planned so long-our junior Prom, headed by Bruce Clark and Sharon Burnes. Our theme was Moonlight and Roses with a setting in the Old South. It was truly a fabulous dance. Everyone enjoyed it and the Post-Prom Party held at Mapleview by the P.T.A. Our class picnic was held at Camp,Russell on June 19, 1958. -CHARLOTTA F ILKIN S
