FRESHMAN YEAR Time passes so quickly! It doesn't seem long ago when we started our freshman year at Dal- ton High School. But there behind us stretch the four years. Do you remember how 115 eager freshmen launched their high school career on September 7, 1955, with Miss Flynn as our advisor? At our first class meeting the following officers were elected: Dick Witham, President, Robert Fogarty, Vice-Presidentg Charlotta Filkins, Secretary, and George Ken- dall, Treasurer. May 18 was the date of our first dance, the Freshman Frolic, which was under the co-chair- manship of Chuck Sherman and Sharon Burnes. This dance with its Springtime in Paris theme was an artistic, social, and financial success. We ended our first year with a class Picnic at Camp Russell on june 21. -CHARLOTTA FILKINS

SUPHOMORE YEAR Remember when we re-entered Dalton High School on September 5, 1957, for our Sophomore year? The members of the class unanimously re-elected Dick Witham to lead them. Other officers were Chuck Sherman, Vice-Presidentg Charlotta Filkins, Secretaryg and George Kendall, Treas- urer. Our fund raising event for the year was a card party under the direction of jim Irland and Betty Crosier. ', The Co-Chairmen for our Sophomore Hop were Bruce Clark and Sharon Burnesg the theme was Knight Tirne g the result, success.
