Junior Varsity Stickwomen JV Season The girls were very produc- tive this year and finished the season with a 5-2-3 record,” commented Coach Joni Os- wald. Seven Junior Varsity players proved their accuracy by scor- ing for victories. They were An- nette Henry, Nita Stiles, Gina Diehl, Kim Ludwig, Karen God- frey, Amy Ruth and Jodi Frey. Joan Goss was the Junior Var- sity goalie. The future seasons of the JV team look very promising. R. Llctzel. The 1981 Wildcats, under the coaching of John Pitzer, completed another winning season with a final record of 7-2-1. They extended last years’ winning streak to fourteen games. Coach Pitzer described the season as very suc- cessful, considering it was the toughest schedule in the school’s history.” The addition of Central Penn powers, Steel High and York High, brought on a major challenge. The Dallastown gridmen won their first four games before suffering a loss to Steel High. The Homecoming game against Spring Grove ended in a draw between the wildcats and rockets. All hope for the championship was lost when York High shut out Dallastown with a score of 12-0. The Wildcats recovered from these losses and came back to win the final three games. The final league standings had Dallastown in second place.
