Sickness and injury plagued the team until well into the second half of the season. Yet in the face of almost constant instability in the start- ing lineup, the team remained a close-knit, deter- mined group. Their determination paid its dividend when near the end of the season the team picked off its first victories in over a year. The league will remain tough, but with three starters returning, next year should prove more fruitful.
