CINDER BL The Wildcat track teams met the 1979 season with a few changes in their coaching crew. Mr. Raymond Geesey and Mr. Robert Schen- etzka, a former teacher of Ken- nard-Dale High School, assisted varsity coaches Mr. John Pitzer and Miss Donna Pasternak. Mr. William Zimmerman was assistant to Junior High coach Mr. Michael McWilliams. The boy’s varsity team had a dis- appointing league competition, but still managed to break five school records through individual and team effort. They also participated in the Elizabethtown Invitational, Shippensburg Invitational, Sonny Sheppard Relays and Suburban Relays. Tha girl’s team faired better plac- ing second, losing only to rival Red Lion. They broke four school re- cords and also participated in the Sonny Sheppard and Suburban Re- lays. Both teams sent participants to both the county and district meets. The Junior High track team had a tough season with all their meets ending in a close decision. Three out of the six were in their favor. They also sent participants to the Elizabethtown Invitational, Sonny Sheppard and Suburban Relays.
