Reichard. The Spectator was prepared by a staff selected last spring. Mr. Hummel, the literary advisor, selected these people from the Junior class. Before the close of last year's school term, the staff began the Spectator's initial planning. From the start of the 1961-62 school year, the staff worked to Finish sections of the yearbook by certain deadlines. This year the Spectator was compiled by a staff smaller than of previous years to increase the efficiency of compiling and editing the book. Many hours were spent on the exhaustive task of gathering pictures and ideas to be Fitted into the structure of our plans. As a staff we thank George Schroeder and Gary Alcorn for fine work and coop- eration they have given us. 24
