Dallastown Winter coats and boots were the order of the evening when yon braved the cold fifteenth or sixteenth of March to see “Cracked Nutts” by Jay Tobias, which Mrs. Elaine Brown di- rected. As the curtain rose, the troubles of two college girls, Peggy and Ginger Nutt, played by Kaye Ann Strayer and Nancy Gray, unfolded before you. To make a little spending money, the girls decided to take in roomers while their Aunt Drue was away. Matters soon were complicated by their hypnotized housekeeper, a professor and his two nephews who were being pursued by a widow from the sunny south. Aunt Drue’s money mad suitor and his mother who came to visit, and an escaped octopus. Aunt Drue returned in time, however, to untangle the situation and discover that the professor was her long lost love. Also in the cast were: Carolyn Raab as Gussie Garfinkle; Karen Leader as Aunt Drusilla; Ralph Stahl as Professor Beamish; Eugene Smith and Eugene Hartman as the professor s nephews; Sheila Gemmill as Magnolia Longsford; Kent Sprenkle as Adel- bert De Weese; Faye Krout as Sirs. De Wcese; Joyce Ileindel as Delicious; Charles Snyder as Confusion; Dalen Grove as the Voice. 2 S

The Student Council officers, Shelia Gem- The pic-eating contest was one of many games at mill, Connie Kaab, Joyce Heindel, and the Student Council’s Hallowe’en Party.
