Mr. Lewis anal his father were amoi-zg the earliest Textile Manuface turers of Gaston County, foimaling the Dallas ancl Morewelvli Mills. Air. Lewis hecame a memlier of the Dallas School Boarcl in April, 1918 anal remaineol a memher imtil his death in 1945.
