Three months of no school. Three months of warm days. Three months of doing WHATEVER YOU WANT! Summertime is funtime as most would say and another summer just flew by. The summer of '87 was a short one but then again, just because it was short doesn't mean it wasn't fun! “I had a great summer, I thought it was just too short! replied Senior Cindy Bressler. The season started out pretty good, no clouds, lots of sun and activity. Then came July and the clouds but no one gave up hope. August proved there was hope and the sun once shined and raised the thermometer to 97, then 95, then 98 ... Perfect for the beach of Detroit Lake! As September came near and everyone went back to school, it was agreed it was a short summer. But hey, it's been said before - they'll be more summers yet to conquer! By Tracie Steggell Mr. Walker spends his summer days water skiing. He and his family rent a houseboat on Shasta Lake in California every summer. Juniors Did we have a good time ???? The Junior class, we are now upperclassmen at Dallas High School. We are going to the prom this year and the girls are arch bearers at graduation. This has been a great junior year stated Danelle Pelto. And Debie Ott agrees that this has been a really good year. The junior class has lots of spirit as you can see at the pep assembly on the right. But we have the most people. We have one more year to go and that will be the end of our high school years.
