SENIOR CLASS HISTORY This class of 1958 entered Dallas High as sophomores scared to death, spirits low, lost and bewildered. Finally the first few weeks went by and things looked brighter. We chose that year the following officers: President, Mike Kelley; Vice-President, Tom Parsons; Secretary, Marilyn Goertzen; Treasurer, Donna Bernier; Sergeant-at-Arms, Gary Henry. Mrs. Jamie Whitworth helped advise and Edward Caillier assisted us, too. Somehow we managed to get through with their help and we achieved a few honors. Donna Bernier and Doug Austin were selected king and Marilyn Norris escorted by Jack Bernier, was crowned May great fun with games and good treats for everyone. The girls the Pepettes and Junior Y-Teens. Because our class was out-citizenship trophy with much cheer. The junior year dawned bright and cheery but a few of us banquet and prom and we didn't want anything to go wrong, chose didn't actfancy; they gotin and worked. Our Vice-Pres-Treasurer, Murline Fast; and Sergeant-at-Arms, Doug Austin. Melvin Miller. We were represented in the student govern-ley, Sergeant-at-Arms. We won some awards of which we best actress and actor; the talent show trophy we proudly re-grieved. As prince and princess to the Sweetheart Ball we se-banquet and prom were the best in years and our theme was the second time in a row, we received the citizenship trophy In the fall of '57, came the ficeis to pick? The crystal ball was Berkey. Helping him were Virgil Friesen, Treasurer; Tom Parsons, beam, we invited Miss Joanne Stet-the limelight despite the wind and Prevo reigned over the Homecoming Berkey, Leta Groves went with Bill MARTHA PL1LER GOEBEL BOB FRIESEN AMY POMEROY
