Trop QC? As president of the DCHS Alumni Association, I was asked to assist in making plans for a class reunion of the 1963 Graduating Class to be held in connection with the annual Homecoming Activities at Dallas County High School. To find all of the mem- bers of the class left me somewhat at a loss, but all members were finally located and extended a special invitation to the Class Reunion. DIANE PARKER, now Mrs. Charles Teel, of Selma, gave the information that FRANCES WALKER is married and that she and her husband own and operate their own bakery in Indiana. LINDA CHAPPELLE has combined marriage and a career as secre- tary to the President of one ofthe most successful new industries to ,come to Selma. MARGIE NELL STOUGH is married and lives in Maplesville. JULIA LEVINS is a mem- ber ofthe Plantersville Elementary School Faculty. Valuable assistance was given in locating some of the harder to find members through the Ross Detective Agency. Upon seeking the assistance of this agency, imagine my surprise to learn it is a partnership between KENNETH ROSS and WILLIAM WEAVER! These great sleuths located RAY LOCKHART, Vice -President of Alamet, at a conven- tion of the National Engineers Association in New York. JIMMY STOCKMAN is in- volved as special counsel in a tremendous court case in Kansas City, and sent regrets that he will be unable to attend the reunion. CLYDE WILSON, a prominent businessman in Birmingham, located HUGH WARE, JIMMY WADE, and GRADY SMITHERMAN at the W-W -S Garage where they are en- gaged in quite a prosperous business. GARRY GRIFFITH is a Mathematician at Redstone Arsenal, I had all but dispaired of finding GARLAND HARDY when he walked into the State Museum where I was setting up a display of the Inca ruins I had brought from my last expedition to South America. He works for the U. S. Forestry Service and spends much time in the big woods. STEVE LOCKHART is another federal employee working for the NASA experimenting on a new formula for rocket fuel. Tired from the added activities of locating these class members, and desiring a thorough physical check-up since my return from South America, I visited the office of a doctor in Birmingham upon the recommendation of a friend. Little did I realize that BILL SHERRER was the one referred to in the name, Sherrer's Clinic. ROBERT DUNKIN remained the only member of the class whom I had not been able to contact. Finally, through diligent investigation, I was given an address, Alcatraz. With great apprehension, I contacted Robert and learned that he holds the job of Warden and that it is very doubtful that he will be able to get away for the reunion. It will be a pleasure to see all these people again and to share experiences with them after ten years of separation. Cheryl Bagby Class Prophet
