...-M .M BASKETBALL l The l9L7 and 'L8 Bulldog basketball team set another remarkable record of winning 18 games and losing 6 during the regular playing season. Three of the defeats were at the hands of Carthage. In the La Moine Valley Conference, the Bulldogs had 9 wins and 3 defeats. Dallas placed 2nd in the La Harpe Tournament. The boys on the Varsity Squad were: D. Anguish F. Sherwood O. Pence H. Wingfield T. Dorch W. Brown The Junior Varsity Squad was made up of: R. adkins L. Murphy E. Klossing R. Ferguson W. Murphy B. Shaw J. Logan H. Pence S. Brown R. Thompson Pence and Anguish are the only boys that will be lost by gradu- ation this year. We are looking forward for another winner next year. The Junior Varsity had a splendid record of 23 wins and 8 defeatS.
