S. nt the beginning of the year officers to guide Q F E us through the troubled waters were as follows: Lerita Pence, ... president, Dolores Nelson, vice-president, Berniece Craig, secre- Z2 : tary-treasurer, and Eddie Klosslng, student coxmcil representative. - Many activities around school find juniors ardent workers. In G. A. A., Lerita Pence is president, Marlon Thornber, secretary, IZ , and Marilyn Rhea, treasurer. On the Reflector staff are--Berniece , 3: Craig, photographer, Marion Thornber, assistant photographer, Lerita Pence, assistant editor, Eddie Klossing, assistant business P manager, Ray Gilpin, artist. The Buzz staff includes: Lerita .... ii: ,lg Pence, feature editor, Fred Sherwood, sports editor, Ray Gilpin, f---'- art editor: Marilyn Rhea, chit-chat column, Berniece Craig, report- f 5 'Q er, and Erla Mae Jones, Martha Thompson, Marion Thornber, and Sarah ..... ' '. Z Johnson, production staff. Several juniors are members of F. F. A. 3- and F. H. A. Five boys are on the first of second basketball team, these are Tom Dorch, Fred Sherwood, Wayne Brown, Hallie Wingfield, ' and Eddie Klossing. -3: X .Q P ' 5, One of the highlights of the year was the Prom given in honor -U3 5 of the seniors. The juniors found out it takes hard work and -- ' . - plenty of time to secure the money for such an affair. The junior play, All on Account of Polly, helped out by clearing 8l22.8O. Other devices used were the sale of Christmas cards, decals, and a special candy sale. S And then another reason for all their money making activ1ty-- 5 1 just maybe--might be that the Juniors have in mind their trip in 'l+9. Did we say just maybe??
