E fi November A was the next assembly, in which the Juniors gave a preview of S their play. Q aj 3, Assembly number three was given by the world history class on December 3. ji This was a demonstration of the United Nations Organization in active session. ?3 3? E hi Another capital event was the Penny Carnival which marked another adven- E my ture by the seniors on November 21, l9h7. 1 me r E In his plane, Santa Claus nosed ln for a landing on the ship's deck f Q2 bounded for WThe Junior Christmas Party.' This was held December 23, l9h7. Q 3 The Alumni dance given in honor of the seniors was held by the alumni of i 1 'P .I D. C. C. H. S. E .3 , I : qi DRIVES Q if During the year there were various drives' around the country and our i 11 high school has helped out on several of these. E if The Junior Red Cross Drive held this fall brought in 31.36 from the stu- g Y, dents. Along with this the F. F. A. contributed 85.00 to the Illinois Foun- f gi dation of the F. F. A. Q pw : ' I lf Another drive was the March of Dimes Drive, which began January 15. The F k Lincoln Friendship Train Fund was also contributed to by everyone.
