I Birds ot a Feather, Flock Together HISTORICAL In 1907 two literary societies were organized. The programs were entertaining and educational and considerable interest was developed. Several debaters attained marked proficiency' in the forensic battles of these meetings and some have since made good on college teams. Since then other things have detracted from the literary activity of the high school. This year the students suddenly awoke to the fact of their deficiency in this line and im- mediately set about to re-organize. In consequence interest- ing programs have been rendered every two weeks and the old time enthusiasm for debate has been revived.
