Awards Banquet With the closing weeks of the school year came the annual Awards Banquet held at the Garland Rd. Church of Christ building. Sponsored by the Student Council, numerous students were honored for scholastic achievements and service to the school. Judy Payne and Billy Alexander were named Mr. and Miss DCHS. School Year Ends With Commencement The school year officially ended May 24, when commencement exercises were held at the Garland Road Church of Christ building. As the 51 seniors received their diplomas and walked out of the auditorium , the event marked the end of an era at Dallas Christian. Gone is a class that for 4 years put its mark on the school. Gone , too, will be the building which housed that class for so long , and gone will be many of the teachers who both taught those students and learned from them . The future , however, will turn for Dallas Christian High School WHETHER GOOD OR BAD , one thing is for certain: DC will never be the same. Seniors file in during the processional
