DC Hosts TCS Literar Meet The Dallas Christian Speech and Drama Club clirnaxed their year when they hosted the Texas Christian Schools Literary Meet, April 5-6 . Though losing by only 2 points to Lubbock Christian for the Sweepstakes Trophy, DC did very well, garnering 8 first place awards, 'I second place awards, and 9 thirds. DC competitor Tim Timmons was named Outstanding Boy of the meet for winning more points than any other single boy. One of the biggest first place winners was the one- act play, The Woodshed , which won out over very tough competition. Miss Leatherwood directed the play and coordinated the meet.
